Byrdie's is the newest addition to the hip St. Claude area. If you love great art, enjoy excellent coffee and tea, or have ever had a hankering to play with clay, Byrdie's is the spot for you. The gallery side of Byrdie's has just been added to the fabulous list of SCAD galleries. The studio portion of the shop will soon be offering classes in wheel thrown pottery. Finally, the tea & coffee shop is home to fresh locally roasted coffee as well teas imported from around the world. So come down and check out the newest spot on St. Claude Ave!

Support This Site!

The St. Claude Arts' District website has always been paid for, maintained and upgraded by Andrea Garland since its inception in 2005 - no fees have ever been requested from participating venues. Monetary support would be appreciated to help cover hosting fees and time spent maintaining the site - and wold allow for faster implementation of future upgrades. Additionally, Andrea would like to create postcards and other materials to further promote SCAD, which would require funds to cover printing. Any donation, large or small, would be much appreciated!

"I've told anyone who'll listen that, in many respects it was the most satisfying exhibition I've ever had. Primarily, I think, because of the people who attended. Not at all snooty and pretentious, like many art patrons (Like here in Atlanta f'rinstance). And not superficial dorks cruising from gallery to gallery in search of cheap white wine, but really not interested in the art (Like a crowd I had in Philly a couple of years ago.). I dunno...the people who showed up in NOLA were more straightforward and appreciative. Maybe because of the burgeoning art district you guys are developing there.
